Short |
Vertical
lines will create length as well as a more slender
impression. (Princess Style) |
Full |
Avoid
pleats and to much detail for that will give the
impression of an even fuller figure. Soft flowing
lines are most flattering. Take the emphasis off
your figure with a tear-drop bouquet, for it will
create the illusion of length. Be aware of high
necklines, rather use necklines that show off those
curves. If you have a short neck, you shouldn't
wear your hair in your neck. Rather take it up to
create length and a slimmer neckline and bodice.
Long skirts and dresses are most flattering. |
Pear |
A
full A-line dress will take the attention off your
hips and place emphasis on your waist or neckline.
|
Tall |
By
wearing a fuller skirt you would create the illusion
of being shorter. Soft draped material that is gathered
at the side of your waist would take away the emphasis
on your length. Most Styles should be flattering
for your body shape. |
Petite |
Avoid
using too much detail on your dress. Use simple
lines with flowing soft material. Play with interesting
necklines like halter or even strapless or spaghetti
straps that are beaded or sequenced. |
|
The Empire style is
most effective in hiding your bust. Cross-over
wrap-around top's gives the impression of a smaller
bust, then again if you do have it - Show it,
most girls envy you.
